Welcome to Plaster House

The Plaster House is a home in Arusha for children from around Tanzania to recover in after they have had corrective orthopaedic surgery, plastic surgery or neurosurgery for a disability.

Treat a Child

Sponsor a child who comes to us for corrective surgery

  • $300 – the subsidy for a whole surgery and rehabilitation period
  • $200 – the subsidy for the rehabilitation period
  • $50 – orthotics following corrective club foot surgery

Sponsor a specially designed bed for children to stay in…

  • $200 – Sponsor a specially designed and built Cyprus bed to provide comfort for the patients and safety for those who will be caring for them. Sponsor as a group or a family, give as a gift, or personally and have your name carved in the wood.

We have found there is not enough room for all our kids…

To build a new 40-bed Plaster House will cost an estimated US$200,000, contribute to our building fund so we can expand our ability to care for children through their surgery and rehabilitation period in a healthy, clean and loving environment.

Feed a Child

Assist us provide nutritional and strengthening diet for the children…

  • $100 – 100 kilograms of rice or maize
  • $50 – daily milk to all kids for a month
  • $25 – fruit and vegetables for the centre for a week
